Singapore was decided to be the host of the 2010 Youth Summer Olympic Games. They will be the first ever to host a Youth Olympic games. The games are planned to run from August 14th to the 26th and will have 26 different sports. The Games are planned to be a way for the youth of the world to get excited in sports and represent their countries. Athletes are to be between the ages of 14 and 18. The first Winter Youth Olympic games are planned for Innsbruck in 2012.
