Qualifying for the 2012 Olympic GamesEdit
How does one qualify to compete in the 2012 Olympic Games?
First and foremost, an individual needs to be very skilled and capable of competing at an international level in a sport that is part of the London Games (see List of Sports). Beyond that, there is not a single answer.
Each sport has its own qualifying rules and regulations which in most cases involves competing in a designated Olympic Trial event prior to the games. The competition at each sport's Olympic Trials is fierce and will make or break an athlete's dream of competing in London.
