Afghanistani athletes have won a total of 2 medals at the Summer Olympic Games. All of these medals have came from taekwondo. This nation has never competed at the Winter Olympic Games.

The National Olympic Committee for Afghanistan was created in 1935 and recognized in 1936. The organization does not currently have a web site.
