Alexandra Georgiana Eremia was born on February 19, 1987 in Bucharest, Romania. Eremia was a member of the 2004 Romania Olympic team and won a gold medal in the women's artistic gymnastic's team event and a bronze on the balance beam. Eremia retired from competitive gymnastics in 2006 and now works as a coach.
