Anna Anatolyevna Pavlova was born on September 6, 1987 in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Russian. Pavlova was a member of the 2004 and 2008 Russian Olympic teams and won two bronze medals at the 2004 games in the women's artistic gymnastics team and vault events. In 2008, Pavlova competed in the vault final but received a 0.000 on her second vault after false starting.
