Antti Kasvio is a swimmer who has competed for Finland. He competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Kasvio emerged as one of Finland's leading swimmers with Jani Sievinen in the 1990s. His major Olympic success emerged at Barcelona 1992 where he surprisingly snared a bronze in the 200 metres freestyle behind the runner-up Anders Holmertz and the winner Evgueni Sadovyi. With this feat, he became the second Finnish swimmer to win an Olympic medal since Arvo Aaltonen received a bronze each in the 200 and 400 metres breaststroke at Antwerp 1920.
Atlanta 1996 turned to be a deception for Kasvio as he struggled to reach his peak from Barcelona. When he entered the B-finals of the men's 200 metres freestyle from the heats, he scratched out from the meet for undisclosed reasons.
He is the son of swimmers Ulla Patrikka and Matti Kasvio.
