Ashton Eaton is a track and field athlete who has competed for the United States. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympic Games. He was the first decathlete since Daley Thompson in Los Angeles 1984 to successfully defend his Olympic title.

He is married to Canadian track and field athlete Brianne Theisen-Eaton.
