Ayumu Hirano is a Japanese competitive snowboarder from Murakami, Niigata. In the 2013 Winter X Games XVI, he won the silver medal in the superpipe behind the sixth consecutive gold medal effort of Shaun White.

Sochi 2014Edit

The 14 year old Hirano went air-for-air against the snowboarding champ Shaun White at the 2013 X Games and definitely has a future in men's halfpipe. The question is if the future starts in 2014.
