Ayumu Hirano is a snowboarder and a skateboarder who has competed for Japan. He competed at the 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympic Games and the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. He became the youngest athlete to win an Olympic medal in a snow event, when he was 15 years old when he won a silver medal in 2014.

His younger brother Kaishu Hirano made his Olympic debut in 2022.
