Chen Yibing was born on December 19, 1984 in Tianjin, China. Chen was a member of the 2008 Chinese Men's Gymnastic's team that won the gold medal in the team event. Chen is also the reigning Olympic and World gold medalist on rings. In 2012, Chen helped China defend their gold medal in the team event and won a silver medal in the still rings at the London Olympics.
