Notifications are message bubbles that alert you to new messages or activity on your wiki. They help in keeping you informed of the latest events and activities on your wiki and account.
Step-by-Step
- You will automatically receive a notification if the following action takes place:
- Your talk page or Message Wall of any wiki is edited.
- An admin updates the Community Corner
- You receive an achievement badge
- Messages from Wikia Staff
- The notifications appear at the bottom of the page:

- If a wiki uses Message Wall, you will also see your notifications listed on the top right header, next to your username. This will display links to all wikis on which you have a Message Wall message.

Characteristics

| Updated Community Corner | Community Corner on Wiki Activity | Can be dismissed or disappears 24 hours after edit to Community Corner |

Notification bubble colors are the same as buttons colors, and can be changed by admins in the Theme Designer.
