Kirani James is a track and field athlete who has competed for Grenada. He competed at the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympic Games. He was the first athlete from Grenada to win an Olympic medal when he won the men's 400 metres in 2012, and the first Grenadian athlete to win multiple Olympic medals. He was also selected to be the flag bearer for Grenada during the opening ceremony of London 2012.
