Kirsten Vlieghuis is a swimmer who has competed for the Netherlands. She competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympic Games.
Vlieghuis' major Olympic success transpired at her Olympic debut in 1996. There, she claimed two bronze medals with the Dutch record time each in the long-distance freestyle double (4:08.70 in the 400 and 8:30.84 in the 800). Four years later in Sydney, she swam the same double from Atlanta but missed the top eight final in any of her races. Shortly after the Games, she retired from competitive swimming.
