Koji Yamamuro is a gymnast who has competed for Japan. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
During the team all-around final at London 2012, Yamamuro injured his ankle on the vault event and needed medical attention. Although he qualified for the individual all-around final in eighteenth, he withdrew from the tournament and his teammate Kazuhito Tanaka replaced him as the next highest-ranked gymnast among the Japanese men because of the two-per-country limitation rule.
