Larisa Iordache is a member of the 2012 Romanian Olympic team. Iordache battled a heel injury right before the gymnastics competition started that put her status to compete in question but Iordache was able to recover and helped Romanian win a bronze medal in the team event and qualified to compete in the all-around competition where she placed in ninth place.
