Lyudmila Smirnova is a figure skater who represented the Soviet Union at the 1972 Olympic Games. Smirnova was partners with Andrei Suraikin.

Smirnova married Alexei Ulanov, who she was partners with after ending her partnership with Auraikin. They had two children together, Nikolai and Irina. Irina became a pair figure skater as well. Smirnova and Ulanov would divorce.
