Mark McMorris is a Canadian snowboarder who specializes in the slopestyle and big air events. He was the first ever to complete a backside triple cork 1440 and is the current two-time reigning Winter X Games champion in the slopestyle event.

McMorris is the Shaun White of slopestyle, a downhill big-air competition that will make its Olympic debut in 2014. White will get a lot of attention, but McMorris has a more likely chance of getting the gold(but he didn't).
