Martin Fourcade is a French biathlete and non-commissioned officer. Fourcade has won several medals at the World Championships (including four golds), and is also an Olympic silver medalist and winner of the 2011–12 and 2012-13 Overall World Cups.

Winter OlympicsEdit

Fourcade previously represented France at 2010 Vancouver and impressively earned a silver medal in 15-km mass start. Claiming five gold medals at the World Championships over the past three years, Fourcade is currently rated first overall in World Cup rankings for each of sprint, pursuit, individual, and mass start competitions.

Fourcade has sustained that drive into 2014 by earning victory during the final warm-up before Sochi last week in Italy. This biathlon participant heads to Sochi with a perfect combination of ability and success.
