Meryl Davis is an ice dancer competitor for the USA. Davis is partnered with Charlie White and they are the defending world champions. Davis and White won the silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. At the 2014 Olympics, they won first place in both segments in the team event; Team USA as a whole won bronze. Davis and White, in their individual event, earned first place in both segments and won a gold medal in the free dance. They became the first American team to win a gold medal in ice-dance at the Olympics and they set world records in short, free and overall scores!
