Nathan Ghar-jun Adrian was born on December 7, 1988 in Bremerton, Washington, USA. Adrian was a member of the 2008 USA Swimming team and won a gold medal by competing in the heats of the 4 x 100 meter freestyle even though he did not swim in the final. Adrian won two gold medals and one silver at the 2012 games. Adrian competes for the University of California, Berkeley, where he is a five time NCAA champion.
