Samantha Nicole Peszek was born on December 14, 1991 in McCordsville, Indiana. Peszek was a member of the 2008 USA Olympic team where she won a silver medal in the women's artistic gymnastic's team competition. Due to injury Peszek only competed on the uneven bars during the qualifying round of the competition. Peszek attends UCLA where she competes at the NCAA level and won a national title on the balance beam.
