Sandra Izbasa was born on June 18, 1990 in Bucharest, Romania. Izbasa was a member of the 2008 Romanian Olympic team where she won a gold medal on floor exercise and a bronze medal in the team event. Izbasa will be a member of the 2012 Olympic team.
