Terin Marie Humphrey was born on August 14, 1986 in Saint Joseph, Missouri, USA. Humphrey was a member of the 2004 USA Olympic team where she won silver medals in the women's artistic gymnastics team and uneven bars events. Humphrey retired from competitive gymnastics in 2008 citing back problems. Humphrey joined the Raymore police force in 2010. In 2012, Humphrey was the athlete representative for the 2012 Olympic team selection process and attended various meets and helped in choosing the members of the women's gymnastic team.
