Defensive tackle Mike Patterson was in Mike Patterson Eagles Jersey and doing drills on a side field at training camp Saturday morning per Reuben Frank and Andy Schwartz of Philadelphia Sports TV. Patterson has not practiced since August 3rd, when he was hospitalized after suffering a seizure during drills. Patterson was diagnosed with a brain AVM, which most likely caused the seizure, and has been undergoing tests. According to Sports TV’s Adam Schefter, the Kansas City Chiefs have scooped up former Ravens offensive tackle Jared Gaither. Jared Gaither will wear Jared Gaither Chiefs Jersey and play for Kansas City Chiefs next season. Gaither is expected to wear Custom NFL Jerseys and compete with Barry Richardson and Ryan O’Callaghan for the starting right tackle position in Kansas City. Coach Rex Ryan said that Cotchery asked to be traded or released. The 29-year-old was taken in the fourth round by the Jets out of North Carolina State in 2004 and worked his way into the Jets’ starting lineup after a few seasons. Sure-handed and consistent, he has 353 career catches for 4,474 yards and 18 touchdowns. With the NFL lockout over and an agreement to play football in place, it looks like defensive tackle Kelly Gregg will have to put his ultimate fighting plans on hold for the time being. Per a league source, Gregg has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chiefs. Kelly Gregg will wear Reggie Bush Dolphins Jersey and play for Kansas City Chiefs next season.
