Valeri Belenki is a gymnast who has competed for the Unified Team and Germany. He competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
After successfully winning the gold medal with the Soviet men and a bronze in the individual all-around at Barcelona 1992, Belenki returned to his second Olympics in Atlanta four years later under his new home country Germany. There, he helped the German men secure a seventh overall spot in the team portion and landed on sixth in the individual all-around final.
