Valerie Adams is a track and field athlete who has competed for New Zealand. She competed at the 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympic Games. She originally won silver at the Olympic Games in 2012, but the medal was upgraded to gold after a doping violation of the original gold medalist.
